Hello! Our group is “Modern Students”! We chose this name after discovering the things we had in common. The members of this group are different but all of us liked TV serial, especially Modern Family and we´re studying teaching training, so this is the reason of our name. We have created this blog to post here all the things that we are going to do in the subject “Institutional Organization”.

Our logo is the same as the serial but we have written “Students” instead of “Family”.

We hope you enjoy this blog!

CONCLUSIONS ABOUT LAST PROJECT:

BORJA DE LA CAL

INCLUSIVE SCHOOL BY AMIGOS DEL FOOTBALL.

The topic of this group was about inclusive schools. They began with an explanation of the purpose of these schools, which is based on respect and recognition that there may be different in a school and what to do so that all students have the same opportunities.
Then they wanted to make it clear that is not the same inclusion and integration gave some characteristics of inclusive schools. These characteristics are equal opportunities, diversity, heterogeneity and interpersonal relationships and parents to participate and cooperate in school. Here are some ideas shared by authors who spoke enough.
Strategies for achieving this type of school are inclusive cultures, inclusive inclusive policies and practices.

ICT AND LEARNING DISABILITIES BY CRÓNICAS

VIAJERAS.

This group started naming some of the main disabilities can find in class, such as autism, Down syndrome and motors disabilities and the main difficulties that these students may have, such as distractions, facilities unadapted or socialization.
One of the solutions that is the use of technology, as this can help them integrate and focus through stereos, computers or tablets.

ICT AND IMPROVEMENT SCHOOLS BY TEAM PERK.

The topic of this group is to improve the ICT and school. Many teachers believe that this improvement is possible with the use of ICT but it is very important to know how to use them so that they are really a help in school. Therefore, there are teachers who are against ICT, because they think they can be a distraction for children by the fact that at home use computers or tablets to play. Because of this, teachers who are in favor of ICT try to find ways to improve the use of these and thus the learning process. It is normal that many teachers are afraid of when using ICT in at school but today are necessary to give answers to many questions from students. In addition, currently students are digital natives, so do not need to teach them to operate the equipment and not use so many books. For this to work, the first step is to introduce ICT in universities and thus get future teachers in their use properly.

INCLUSIVE SCHOOL BY UNKNOWNS.

The topic of the group "Unknowns" was also inclusive schools. The work of this group was based on the main ideas of inclusive schools. Some of these ideas are all students, disabled or not, to progress in their education.
Inclusive schools are also related to multicultural education and teach different ways of living. In addition to helping students integrate into class, other objectives of these schools is to offer equal opportunities to all students and that they learn about diversity in life.

SOCIO EMOTIONAL LEARNING BY WANDERLAST.

The theme of this group is the social and emotional learning. The exhibition of this group starts talking about Rafael Bisquerra, who thinks that knowledge express feelings is very important and should be a subject. This group also speaks of the importance of cooperative work and its importance to end the bullying and has a favorable environment in the classroom.
To finish the presentation we talked about activities to work empathy, making one of those involved in the conflict feel the feelings of the other person. They also gave great importance to the role of parents and teachers.

LEARNING COMUNITIES BY MUSICAL CHAIRS.

This group was not present in class but it seems a very interesting topic. We mainly talk about the importance of coordination between teachers and students. For good coordination is important the collaboration of all members of the school and its environment. All this is favorable for the development of the child.
Teachers also teach knowledge to students also they have to teach values and it is very important that there is good relationship between teachers, children and parents.

LEADERSHIP AND SCHOOL EFECTIVENESS BY

DUMBELDORE TEACHERS ARMY AND MARÍA PÉREZ.

This group talked about leadership and the characteristics that must have a student to be a good leader, like trust, confidence or ambition, a good leader is aware of what they need peers and is in contact with teachers and students to solve possible problems that may arise.
It is important to know that a leader is not more important than others, because this leadership is related only to the organization.

Borja de la Cal Tejeda.

LAST PROJECT- ELIA RUEDA MOLINA

Modern students
This was my group, and our topic was ‘Ways of living together in school’.
We started talking about School mediation. Diversity is the cause of the problems in school, and cause bullying, violence and exclusion. This we can solved in two ways, preventive strategies, before it happen, and repair strategies, once it has happen. The mediators of the group are pupils, teachers and employed non-teaching staff.
Later we talked about Program to support peers, it’s objectives (improve coexistence, reduce cases of abuse), characteristics ( promote the ability and responsabilities, helps improve self- esteem), keys of the program ( conflicts as an engine of change, shared responsibility) and results (improve coexistence, decreased intensity of conflicts and increased safety and satisfaction).
We talked about one book called Archeology of feelings in school, by Miguel Angel Santos Guerra, that use archeology as a methapor of feelings in school, of children feelings. Each chapter talk about each stage of the archeology as the feelings in school (discovery, excavation, indagation, protection and esposure).
After this We named one school, called KiVa International School, that is a research- based anti-bullying program. It’s developed in the university of Turku. Kiva has a online webpage where you can find online ttraining for teachers, materials online for teachers, students, parents, and there is also anti-bullying programs.
Finally we put a video and give some conclusion about the video and the work. The mediation is one of the principal parts of the students assistance program. The kids have to control their own emotions if they want to fix the problem. The kids also fell save because they know that there are someone that can help them with their problems.

Wanderlust
This group talked about Social and emotional learning. They started with why we have to include social and emotional learning in schools. In this part they include one idea of Rafael Bisquera, that it was as important as maths or language, and it will help chindren to understand better how they feel, prevent negative feelings,..
After they talk about the methodology, how to turn an idea into practice.
They said that it have things in common with multiple intelligence, that we see in Psychology, because every children has to develop his emotional intelligence, and to do it the propose to do ‘the week of the emotional intelligence’,  to put activities to develop this intelligence.
To end they talk about bullying, that we have to work to avoid it, and they give us a activity called ‘Walk in my shoes!’, that it’s about put yourself in the situation of another person when there is a conflict.

Amigos del football
This group talked about Inclusive schools. They started with a video of Kent school district, that it’s a inclusive school. They define us what was a Inclusive school and it’s caracteristics. A Inclusive school assumes the principle of respect and recognition of the difference of student. Integration and inclusions are two different thing, and they show us it like this:
The characteristics of a Inclusive school are defend diversity, hetereogeneity and interpersonal relationships, promote aquial rights for all, methodological focused on student characterstics, not to content, construction of an educational community and innvolvment of parents and community in school activities, among many others.
They named some ideas of authors like Gordon Porter, equity and quality in class, and an effective use of current resources, or Gerardo Echaita, that defend to put inclusive education into practice, and change the culture and the policy in the educative centres.
The barriers of Inclusive education are policies, diversity and didactics. They give us some strategies for the construction of Inclusive school like creating inclusive cultures, producing inclusive policies and envolving inclusive practice.
They told some examples of inclusives schools as O Peluro school in Pontevedra and Amara Berri School.

 The unknowns
This group talked too about Inclusive schools. They give it definition and characteristics, they give some ideas of some authors like Mel Ainscow, that defend inclusion in class and measure what we value rather than valuing what what we can measure.
They give us some objectives of inclusive schools, as not leave anyone out and promote equal opportunities. And they give us to some beneficts like develop individual strengths and gifts and involve the parents.
They put 2 videos about two differents inclusive schools, Padre Piquer centre ad Sadako school.

Cronicas viajeras
They talked us about ITC and learning disabilities, and they explain it with a clear map. Autism, Down’s syndrome and motor disability are the disabilities they chose, and they told us their difficulties, technologies (ITC) and results and consecuences of this technologies.
A autist person has difficulties like socialization, language, thougts, imagination… The technologies they can use to improve this difficulties are tablets and games, and the results and consecuences are integration support and support to the initiative.
A person with Down’s syndrome has distractions, minor initiative and poor differentiation between old and new stimull, so we can use with them some technologies like whiteboard and cameras, to memory aid, and help to concentrated.
A person with motor disability has physical and motor disabilities, and unadapted facilities. They can use Mp3, computers and laptops to help adaption, communication and comfort.
They finally put us a video about technologies and children with difficulties, and show us an app to help children with those learning disabilities.

Team perks
Team perk talked about ITC and improvement schools. They did a good scheme and the know how to explain it well. The scheme was divided in four parts: Teachers and ITC, how it works, social learning in schools and other tools.
In the part of Teachers and ITC, they talked about digital natives, digital divide and future teachers, and we studied those concepts it the first quarter, with our teacher Sara.
ITC has some advantages , but sometimes it has difficulties. As an advantage we have avoid problems like the excess of weight in bags, and as difficulty we have that some tools are expensives.
About social learning in school, they talked about beneficts of social networks.
And finally they talked about apps, ipod and robotic.

Dumblemdores teachers army
Leadership and school effectiveness was the topic of this group.
Leadership is one of the main factors for the development of a school, and to have a quality education.
This charge rests with the principal and school institutions, as for example teachers.
With the leadership they take decisions that influence the educational process changes.
The effectiveness is demonstrated when the school students show a good development of their capabilities in line also with their families and context.
Here are some of the main characteristics of a leader:
Empathy, consistency, honesty, direction, communication, flexibility, conviction, positive attitude, they have to know how to manage failures and set backs, they take responsibility, …

Musical chairs
This group couldn’t do their presentation because of the time, but they help us to know of what they were going to talk.
This group topic was Learning Communities. We can difened it as the coordination in the classroom between teachers, students and volunteers.
They did a map divided in three, teachers, students and volunteers. These three have relation in pairs, but the three together have relation too, the communication, coordination, cooperation and collaboration.
Relation between students and teachers: The teachers is not the only one who has the knowledge. He have to help the students to get it. They give us some tips to this relation like share, help, guide and motivate students, and use constructivism methods.
Relation between students and volunteers: Volunteers share knowledge through their own experiences. In this way students are educated also in values. It’s good to be dynamic, fun and different.
Relation between teachers and volunteers: coordination and help each others to get the best of their students. It’s necessary trust, support, confidence and understanding.
This process has three phases:
-Dream: in this phase they talk about all the possibilities to improve the centre.
-Priorities: choose the feasible and needed proposals, to make in the reality.
-Working committiees: put it in practice and solving difficulties.

Finally they had one video to show us. Was about a school in Albacete called ‘La Paz’, that collects the main ideas of their topic.

CONCLUSIONS ABOUT THE 3º PROJECT: PATRICIA ZARZA

INCLUSIVE SCHOOOLS BY AMIGOS DEL FOOTBALL

Amigos del Footbal talked about the Inclusive Schools. They first started with a little definition about what are the inclusive schools, and it is suppose that the inclusive schools takes up the principle of respect and recognition of the different students don’t matter the different characteristic that they have and it organize in a flexible and diverse way.
They also talked about the different characteristics that this schools have, such as that they promote equal rights for all the students and that the methodology is focused on the students characteristics and they also defend the diversity and the heterogeneity.
Alter that, they talked about 4 different authors that support the inclusive schools, such as Gordon Porter, Tony Booth, Mel Ainscow and Gerardo Echeita.
But there are some difficulties to start with this type of schools, at first, we have the different polices that say a contradictory things, the diversity and the didactics that affects to the new way of teaching and learning that this schools try to promote.
So, after that you have to follow some steps to have an inclusive school such as creating inclusive cultures, where you established the inclusive values, producing inclusive policies, where you develop a school for all types al children, and evolving inclusive practices.
In the first school that they show as, Amanda Berri´s School, they talked about the necessity to respect the way that every child learns and in their own rhythm, also the video talks about the necessity of the teachers to adapt to different children, where the kids that to live and learn in their way.
In the second school, O Pelouro, is a school where the kids know that they can have a relationship with kids that have some learning disabilities and they know that they can learn also a lot of things with them.
So, in this schools we can see how it is integrated the diversity, how the different child work together and alone, to make them grow up in a mental and a physical way. It is also clear that the kids work at their rhythm and in the way that it is good for them, because something that can work for a child it cannot work for another one.

ICT AND LEARNING DISABILITIES BY CRONICAS VIAJERAS

Cronicas Viajeras talked about ICT and learning disabilities, they talked about 3 disabilities.
First they talked about the Autism, these people have difficulties with socialization, language, thoughts and imagination, so they use tablets and cameras and they have improve in  the integration support and in the support to the initiative.
Then, they talked about the children with Down´s Syndrome, which they have difficulties with the distractions, they have minor initiative, poor diferenttion between old and new stimuli, so they use whiteboards and some game to and they have improve in the memory aid and it has help them to concentrate.
And to finished they talked about the child with motor disability, that there are children that have difficulties with the physical and motor things, and also with the unadapted facilities, so they have work with the music and the computers and laptops and the have improve in the adaptations, it has helped them to communicate better and to be more comfortable.
In the video, we can see that technology makes things possible to them, it helps to them to be more comfortable and to communicate in a better way, and they help to them to feel equal to the rest of the kids that are around them.
So, the conclusion of this topic is that the technology can help to all the different people, no matter if you have a problem or not, if you know how to use it in a way that it can help you, it is going to make your life easier and to the people with disabilities is going to give them an opportunity to integrate in the social community that the classroom is.

ICT AND IMPROVEMENT SCHOOLS BY TEAM PERK

Team Perk start talking about the different advantages that the ICT give to schools and how the technologies improve it, for example, you can adapt your methodology to the different necessities, interest and rhythms of learning, it is more dynamic and promote the creativity and also you can communicate with different professionals to share material or with the families in an easy and fast way.
However, you can find some difficulties such as the cost of the tools or the lack of formation that the teachers have but in this topic we have different solutions like meetings with others and with course to continue the formation and give security to them because they have to be updated and adapted to the kids of the XX century that are digital natives and they learn with ICT.
Also they were talking about social networks and the different benefits that it have but also that we have to be careful with the security and others and they also talked about two types of social networks such as vertical social networks (only can entry the students) and horizontal social networks (all the people can access).
Finally, they said that there are different apps which they can learn a lot in a different and funny way and also what’s more important in a practice way. Besides, with the robotics the children can learn in a trial and error method and they can learn to solve different problems and to tolerate the frustration.
With the video we can see a real case of school that use tools like iPads in this case in class. We saw that as the students as the teachers and parents are satisfied with the result and this method of learn because they learn in an effective way and having a good time which is very important.
So, it’s necessary that we keep in mind that the ICT offer us a lot of benefits and different ways to teach the children but we also have to teach them how to use it in a properly way so they can obtain a lot from it.

INCLUSIVE SCHOOLS BY UNKNOWNS

Unknown talked also about Inclusive Schools, and they defined the inclusive school as the process that the society has to follow to develop and to ensure the learning and participation of all students, teachers and parents in the school life, with attention to diversity and vulnerability.
They talked about the same authors that the other group, that were Porter, Ainscow, Booth and Echeita.
Some of the objectives were to not leave anyone out, to promote equal opportunities, justice and democracy and to promote dynamism and interaction between institutions.
Some of the benefits that an Inclusive Schools have are that they develop individual strengths and gifts, it develop friendships, it gives them the opportunities to learn about it and accepts the individual differences and positively affect to appreciate diversity and inclusion on a broader level.
Then they also talked about the different barriers that this schools can have, such as the contradictory laws and rules, the cultural ones with the discrimination of the rules between culture and children, and the didactics because there are some competitive attitude to the Cooperative Learning and that the curriculum is structured with disciplines and with a lot of books instead of the learning processes.
In the first video we can see how the Inclusive School is related with the socioeconomic factor, with the diversity, they develop multitasking, they develop a good class environment and good values.
In the second one, they related this types of schools with the learning by doing things, as learning in a practical way, and the role distribution that is also important because the kids have to know the role that they have and that it can change every moment.
So, with this topic, as I said before, we can see how they integrated the diversity and how they respect everyone even though they don´t have the same characteristics and the same qualities. We can see how the kid learn how to develop by themselves the different aspects that they want to have and also they know how to develop the knowledge.

SOCIO EMOTIONAL LEARNING BY WANDERLAST

They started talking about why this social and emotional learning is important to include it in the schools as a subject like all the other ones, and this idea was defended by Rafael Bisquerra that said that this is as important as maths or language and that this will help the kids to understand better their emotions and their can understand how they feel and to prevent the negative emotions.
Then they talked about the methodology that we have to use to teach them this things, you will have to talk everyday with the kids about how they are feeling today and how they feel with their partners. We have to teach them how to be empathic so they can also understand how they partners are feeling.
After that they talked about how this is related with the multiple intelligence theory that was develop by Gardner, so the propose to have the emotional intelligence week, where they propose them different situations where they have to say how they would feel and what they will do if there are some negative emotions.
Besides, they also said that this is in relation with the Cooperative Learning, so with this the most important idea was that there is no bulling because they know how they partners feel and they can understand that maybe one that they act in a different way but that doesn´t mean that they are going to change in the way they are.
To finished, they talked about the empathy and how it has to be work in class with some activities like the “Walk in my shoes” that it consist on you have to be in the other persons situations when there is a conflict, so here we have to highlight the importance of the teachers and the parents.
In conclusion, it is important to work with them the emotions that can appear so they know how to manage them and how to control them in a good way so they can get some good things about them. Also they have to know how to understand the emotions of the other and how to be empathic.

LEARNING COMMUNITIES BY MUSICAL CHAIRS

The learning communities is formed by the teachers, the students and the volunteers. Between all of this members it has to be collaboration, cooperation, coordination and communication.
First there are the relationship between students and teachers, and they say that the teacher is not the only one who has the knowledge to help the students to get it, the other students can also help their partners with all the things that they don´t understand or that they cannot do it by themselves. The teacher is someone that share with them his/her knowledge, is someone that is there to help you, is like a guide, that provides you the motivation that you need to construct you own knowledge.
Then we have the relationship between students and volunteers, where the volunteers share the knowledge through their own experiences, so in this way the students can also be educated in values. The volunteers make the classes more dynamic, funnier, different, where the students can also see another point of view, and where they can interact with other people that has been in social environments.
And then we have the relationship between teacher and volunteers, where its need the coordination and that they help each other to get the best from their students. These ones have to trust each other, they have to have fellowship and to support one to the other, so they can built confidence and understanding.
So, it is important that this three relationships work to be strong because with this the students are learning a lot of things that doesn´t appear in the books and that are also important such as values, how to work in a community, how to socialise and how to react in the different situations that you can front to.

LEADERSHIP AND SCHOOL EFFECTIVENESS BY DUMBLEDORE TEACHERS ARMY AND MARIA PÉREZ

Why is important leadership for schools?
Leadership is important in schools because you need someone who is able to make decisions that maybe at first are complicated but then it will improve the school and the way that the students learn, to give them more chances to learn with different things and to give them the chance to discover themselves.
It is also important because the leaders have to know the different things that are the students’ needs to learn, so with that they can make a decision about what they are going to do to transform that needs into something positive that the kids can use to learn.
What are the characteristics for a good leader?
Some of the characteristics that a good leader should have are that has to be a good decision maker, to be astute, to have clear ideas, to trust on the other and to be self-awareness.
A good leader also has to be a good businessman, because he/she has to take carer about the environment in the way that it isn´t a barrier to the teacher and to the students, and also because he has to take care about the development of the children and the school. It also has to be a good organizer, that has to bring qualify teacher to the school, he/she also has to motive children, teacher, parents and the whole community to participate in the education. And to finish it also has to be a institutional expert, he/she has to stablish information based on expert communities that make all people responsible of pupil learning and school develop.

So, to conclude this 3º project I have to say that it is important that we take into account the different learning needs of the students to make the learning process more effective but we also have to take into account that the students are also people with feelings, and we have to teach how to control them so they don´t interrupt in a bad way in the school.
Also, for the people with some difficulties we can see that there are some things, such as the ICT, that can help them to feel more involved in the class and to make them learn in their own way but at same time as the other students.

And talking about the ITC we can see that the technology can bring a lot of positive things to the class and a lot of possibilities to learn, new ways of teaching and new ways of doing things.

Last post by María Encinas Ramos

The first group to present his project was that of "Friends of the football" and its theme was the inclusive schools. She was treated very interesting points of inclusive classrooms. This issue had already worked a little earlier but they knew well further information. They spoke of the collaboration between teachers, how they work together to improve the education of their students. In inclusive schools, teachers need a highly structured and careful plan. Give more opportunities, preparing students for the future real world that awaits them and the importance of certain values.
They talked about the difference between integration and inclusion and as usually people take it as similar concepts and they have nothing to do.

Different characteristics that shows this type of schools are diversity, heterogeneity, equality for all, established an educational community, freedom, democracy, justice, humanization, criteria of standardization, methodology is focused on the students not in content, families and the community take important in this type of schools since they actively participate in various activities...
Inclusive schools defined as: Assumes the principle of respect and recognition of the difference of students and that is organize in a flexible way.
They spoke of four authors: Gerardo Echeita, Gordon Porter, Tony Booth and Mel Ainscow thing which said things like: Measure what we value rather so valveing what we can build supportive communities or measure.
They also spoke of the barriers that are now to create inclusive schools. They spoke of barriers: - Policies (contradictory regulations) - Diversity (attitudinal and conceptual) - Didactics (teaching-learning) and they also mentioned some of the strategies you need to build an inclusive school emphasizing the creation of inclusive cultures, producing inclusive policies and practice of own inclusion.
They put as examples two schools in the first place the Opelouro School in Pontevedra and the Amara Berri School

The second group to expose was "Chronic travelers" who spoke about children with disabilities, and as technologies help to improve, to increase their participation in class, motivate them... They focused on three difficulties that may occur in some children. These were: autism, Down's syndrome and motor disability. They spoke of the difficulties of each one of them, the technologies that are good for these people and the results and consequences of the same.
Regarding autism, we saw that they had difficulty in socialization, language and imagination. Technologies that provide more benefits are the tablets, video games and this causes an integration support and support for the initiative.
As for Down syndrome they spoke that these people have difficulties with attention, they find it difficult to differentiate between old and new stimuli and little initiative. Technologies resulting to improve it is cameras and digital whiteboards as result you will get greater memory capacity and an increase in the concentration.
Finally, speaking of the motor disabilities they told us that these people have both physical and motor difficulties and have difficulties in adapting. To do this, the technology helps them through music player devices, computers and notebooks. The consequences of the use of these technologies is that they help in the adaptation of these people, also communication and comfort.

The third group to present his project was "Team Perk", their project called ICT and improvement schools. They divided the project into 4 parts: teachers and ICT, how to work with the ICT, social learning in schools and other tools.
Within the Group of teachers must be including the digital natives that refers to those who are already born in the technological era, digital divides that it refers to the gap between people who otherwise can't handle very well with technology and people educated in the technological era. Finally, future teachers who must adapt to the technology of the moment and learn to apply it in their classrooms to make their classes more entertaining and motivating. All this use of technologies always causes a series of advantages when it comes to working with them in the classroom but also brings disadvantages.
With respect to the social learning in schools can find numerous tools where students can find response to various problems such as social networks and the internet, know how to use different tools and networks to answer questions...
Some of the tools that our colleagues outside the conventional were applications, the iPad, and robotics that develops abstract thoughts. Finally presented a list of conclusions about their work which included for example: social networks provide lots of possibilities, the disadvantages can be resolved, and teachers must have a continuous training regarding technologies to not be outdone...

The next group was my own. Our theme was "Ways of living together in school" and we decided to split our work into four parts: the school mediation, assistance program between equals, the archaeology of feelings and finally some examples in which we put the example of a school of Finland, Kiva’s school, and a mediation program "students assistants".
First we talk about the figure of the mediator as a person who is responsible for resolving problems that may arise among students. These problems are caused by various reasons such as for example the structure of the family and his own tastes of children and lead to bullying, violence and school exclusion.
This is the mediator and this has two strategies to be able to solve this kind of problem: a preventive way realized until this violence, exclusion or bullying occurs; and a "therapy" to solve the problem which is once such problems have already occurred. We highlight some of the qualities of the mediator: willingness, confidentiality and personal intervention. The mediator also has a number of objectives, highlighting some as being the person who must identify emotions, the mediator should try to develop in children empathy, the mediator should try to children develop communication skills and the ability to listen, and also the mediator must try to children to express their feelings and thoughts in a non-aggressive way. The mediator may be a student, a teacher, parents of students or people employed but not dedicated to teaching as such.
The peer support program marked a series of characteristics, objectives, key to the realization or improvement and results in relation to the mediation how to improve direct participation of pupils, students will be able to share responsibilities, help improve the self-esteem of the students problems since it is one of the reasons causing most both people who suffer abuse as people who provoke abuse others and reduce the number of conflicts in the classrooms.
Our third point's work was based on a book by Miguel Angel Santos war entitled "The archaeology of feelings" where use archaeology as a metaphor for education and the problems encountered in it on a daily basis. The first step is excavation which refers to try to find what is the problem? , the investigation where we see the different types of relationships in the school: teacher-teacher, student, teacher-student... without taking into account the families and all of this forms a hierarchical vertical line. Here are two qualities that mentions the author of the book that are that all schools are equal and at the same time each of them is unique. Third inquiry referred to sentimental education now so established at the school. The fourth step is the practice where we have to do as a result of what is the problem and how we could fix it, and so there are three aspects that can be changed and are: concepts, practices and attitudes. Finally, we would find the exhibition, this passage refers to the moral responsibility that teachers have to share with the rest their good experiences, projects and results so that they can develop to a greater extent.
Finally talked about Kiva's school a school based on the mediation helps. Its purpose is to reduce the problems of bullying and offers assistance to both people harassed as harassing. It offers also a lot of online resources for students.

Student’s assistants video explains everything about the school mediation, environment that improves these situations, how to solve these problems... This is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsSVvB90sUY the next group was that of "The Unknows" and its theme was again as well as the "friends of the football" inclusive schools. His work divided in introduction, ideas, benefits, both questions and answers, and a conclusion. The ideas proposed by this group had much resemblance to those of the previous group to treat the same subject.
They talked about the barriers as the previous group: political barriers cultural educational barriers with the part of answers and questions could interact with the Group again talk about the difference between inclusion and integration or how we could make an inclusive school, how children could take conscience of this... etc.
Finally, they showed a video of father Piquer school, a school based on the acceptance of all people and cultures whose results are very good and work in a very dynamic and enriching way for students as teachers and families.

They followed the "Wanderlust" group and its work was on "Social and emotional learning". They spoke the importance of feelings in the school. It was a bit what he said my work in the part of "archaeology of feeling" the author of the sentimental education which must be now in all classrooms. They spoke of Rafael Bisquerra which gives equal importance to mathematics, history or any subject that the feelings and emotions of all persons that forms the College. This issue also has much to do with mediation since they proposed methodologies based on ask students how they feel every day, how come the rest of his companions... What we through the figure of the mediator explained, that development of empathy, of listening, of not expressed aggressively...
They related the subject with multiple intelligences, since these are intelligence inter- and intrapersonal, with these intelligences developed they wanted later to develop the "week of emotional intelligence" where each one should express how you are feeling and why, i.e., help others and let others help you to.
They also related their topic with the "cooperative learning", highlighting the importance of the problem of Bullying, as in our theme. They believe that through empathy many of these abuses can be solved and in our group also thought it sometimes get in the skin of the other is what makes you change the way you think and act.
At the end of the exhibition, they proposed an activity that could not perform for a matter of time. This activity was going to do was to say how you feel with "x" songs that they were playing, dividing the class into areas and assigning each area to a feeling. The person would displace that sense based on what find you music.

The next group was that of "Dumbledore Teacher complete Army" and the two questions that we were before this work were: 1. Why is a leadership important in school? And 2. What are the main characteristics of a good leader?
This group usually includes a fourth person in the works but in this this person worked individually with the same project, so your information posted on the blog as much as the Group's own have served me a great help to be able to answer the questions that Yolanda made us on this subject. Although I must say that despite being two works dealing with the same subject, each has a different approach with respect to question number 1 and from my point of view, I think the figure of a leader within a series of limits is important, I mean, there must always be a figure that check and take track of teachers, students... Also this person has to be the greatest example of the other members of the school and know guide all understanding and track. The limit is always at the level of superiority for me one thing is to be a leader and another that you're more than anyone or you can do what you want in any of the situations justifying be who you are.

As for question number 2, what are the characteristics that distinguish a good leader could be: A good leader should know what its strengths are and maximize them.
It should be, as I have said earlier, a guide for the rest of the people.
Leaders must be recycling is continuously in knowledge affecting his "group".
The leader, just like other people, must have a set of values, but the leader even more since its function is to guide other people and those people, children mostly, are growing so are at appropriate ages to learn certain values.
The leader must be a series of communication skills, be calm and peaceful. Work an atmosphere of relaxation.

The next group, could not be exposed and was the "Musical chairs", their theme was "Community learning" for the information that I have searched and helping me all the information you put on the blog with the poster and everything, community learning means co-operation within the classroom between teachers students but also people volunteers, promoting cooperation, collaboration, coordination, communication...
We focus on volunteers and with the aim of improving the school, these are people who do not have to have a degree and therefore cannot provide the teaching as such but that can help teachers, make lectures, activities... based on his own experience. As indicated in your poster the Professor is not the only person who can lead the children to get a series of values such as sharing, help, based on constructivism...
This process has three stages: Dream: where are put together all those ideas that could improve the College in any of its aspects. A bit like the book "archaeology of feelings" with the excavation phase, would be see what is the problem or what is going wrong.
Priorities: This aspect refers to the selection of such ideas put forward previously since it is very difficult to include all ideas at the same time and find a solution for all at the same time.
Working Committees: Refers to the action of putting these already selected ideas into practice to improve the education of our classrooms.

As conclusions to these works, I would highlight the importance of each of them. I think that we have all worked pretty well the issues and that we have been able to realize large quantity of things which includes a school, that not everything is as simple as it seems and all the issues relating but at the same time lots of the subtopics and I think that people should become more aware about all these issues to have greater knowledge and thus improve classrooms because many times education institutions do not realize the importance of students, their needs and honestly there is nothing more important in education than boys. They are the base and body of this whole system and therefore have to take care of them and improve their conditions as much as possible. All have important, inclusion, the technology that in addition to being more present in schools daily for its various benefits also we have discovered to be tremendously beneficial for children with difficulties such as autism... We end up with problems like violence and develop in children certain values so that they have empathy avoiding these problems and failing to make the children to express their feelings so that they feel better, to develop in a more healthy and motivating environment, all in relation to the methodology, including multiple intelligences is staffed by all these relationships with the own individual and the rest both students as teachers... by completing all the school hierarchy and thus see problems found in education and how to fix them both with the help of children, parents, teachers, leaders or directors, mediators and even volunteers whose sole purpose is improving the education and life of the children themselves.

With all this, we learn the task of a teacher is not easy unlike the stereotypes there right now for example in our society with respect to the teaching staff. Everything requires effort, time, and much sacrifice and what we have to do is try to find the best kids at the end and at Cape will be the future and work cooperatively to provide ideas, have greater knowledge and all get better little by little.

Summary of the presentations
Amgios del Football
The “Amigos del Football” were the first group who started with their presentation.  The topic of their presentation was inclusive schools and the presentation was made of a definition, main ideas, barriers and a conclusions. As well they showed us a video at the beginning. The video was about inclusive education experience and practice. Teachers talked about their experience and told their opinion about inclusion. They said for example that all students must be included, teachers have to work together, all students must be preparing for the real world or that children can learn from each other. The group presented us also the main ideas from different authors like Gordon Porter, Tony Booth, Mel Ainscow or Gerardo Echeita. Porter for instance stands for equity and quality. He has the opinion that current resources must be use effective. Mel Ainscow defines inclusion as a process and Echeita insist that the culture and the policy in the educative centers has to change. They showed us that inclusion has also some barriers. The three main barriers are: Policies, diversity and didactic. But there are strategies to solve these problems for example creating inclusive cultures, producing inclusive policies, evolving inclusive practices etc. At the end of their presentation they showed us one example for an inclusive school. The name of the school is O Pelouro School. It is a child-centered school. All kids live in the same space; they are never separated according to their abilities.

Crónicas Viajeras
The Crónicas Viajeras developed a great conceptual map about ICT and learning disabilities. They talked about three different disabilities: Autism, Down syndrome and motor disability. The conceptual map was divided into the definition, the difficulties, new technologies, which can help and the results and consequences.
Autism is a neurodevelopment disorder which is characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication. Kids with autism have difficulties in socialization, language, thoughts and imaginations. Down syndrome, also called trisomy 21, is a genetic disorder characterized by mild to severe mental impairment, weak muscle tone, shorter stature, and a flattened facial profile. Some of the difficulties that belong to that disorder are distractions, minor initiative or also difficulties to remember things. Also the group talked about motor disability. That includes physical and motor difficulties. In school there are often unadapted facilities, which can be a huge problem for these kids.
The new technology nowadays can help these kids to learn easier and also include them easier in class. There are for example tablets, different games, mp3 (music), computers and laptops which can be used from teachers in class. For instance a whiteboards helps kids with Down syndrome a lot, because they are really visual. They are more motivated and it is easier to remember things with that.
The group showed us also a video where they explained that technology helps to communicate or to create different imaginations. For some children it is for example difficult to pay attention on a paper, but in the video we could see that these kids paid a lot attention on a ipad, because on a Ipad they can see movements and hear music. This is enjoying and motivates them.
At the end of their presentation the group had a small activity. One group member went to one group and they showed us an app. It was a game for kids with a disorder. It was really nice to get to know such an app and how apps like this work.

Team Perk
Team Perk talked about ICT and improvement in school. The introduction of their presentation was made with a video called “The future starts now – 2012 edition” The video was about how to use ICT smartly to improve learning.
The group talked about advantaged and possible difficulties. Difficulties could be that the new technology is most of the time really expensive or sometimes teachers are afraid to use new things. But it is important that the teachers learn to use it, because before they are going to teach students how to work with technology, they have to know how to work with it. Teachers could learn this in teacher trainings or at university. Technology is in the world of the children every day present. All children are digital native. They grow up with technology, so they have to know how to handle them. Also the group talked about social learning in school. The goal is to improve communication between children and teachers. Social network and the internet help to avoid boundaries. Of course there are also other tools like Ipad or robotic. Apps can for example support the class. The video the group showed us was about the use of Ipads in class. You could see how comfortable it was for the kids and that you can attend the attention of other kids who have for example difficulties in reading or motivation. Their conclusion in the end was a great short summary. They mentioned that teachers have to continue to do trainings and that there are a lots of different possibilities to use technology in class.

Unknowns
The conceptual map about inclusive schools of the Unknowns was divided in following different parts: introduction, ideas, benefits, questions and answers and a conclusion. In the introduction they presented us the authors on which their presentation was based on. The authors were the same like in the presentation of “Amigos del Football”, because of that the content was in some points similar.
The ideas and objectives are that inclusive education is presented as a right of all children. Inclusive schools linked to multicultural education. It is about not to leave anyone out and to promote opportunities for everyone. The group mentioned three main barriers: Political (contradictory laws and rules), cultural (permanent attitude of categorize and establish discriminatory rules between the children) and didactics. The group had also a questions and answers part, which was really nice, because in that way they included the class to their presentation. One question was for example “Why is inclusive education important?” The answer to that is of course diversity. Another question was “Is inclusive education for everybody?” Yes it is. That is the point of inclusion, to include everyone without making difference between children.
The video they showed us was about padre piquer center. That’s a school in a low socio-economic neighborhood where the diversity is really high although the students are pretty good in school. The results of their exams are great. Most of the people think because of the huge diversity the marks of the children are bad. But that school showed us that diversity is not bad and doesn’t mean automatically that the student’s grade suffers because of that.
For the group the solutions for the barriers are for example to create inclusive cultures, develop inclusive policies or to develop inclusive practices.

Wanderlust
The group “Wanderlust” prepared a presentation about social and emotional learning. Social emotional skills bring you social well being and academic success. Emotions are daily seen in class. Teachers have to work every day with the emotions of the kids. One task of a teacher is that the children feel happy in class. The group talked also about empathy. To develop empathy in class it is important to attend the emotions of children, listening active and make the children fell free to express their feelings. Teachers have a main role in school and they can do a lot to develop a classroom full of empathy like emotional stimulation, an environment where you listen to each others, respect others view or to be equal to all students.
In the presented video they mentioned that you have to spend a lot of time and effort to develop a peaceful living together. In the video teacher explained that it is important to understand the kids or to spend a lot of time to talk with them. Teachers can help them with their problems by trying to get to know them better, being opened or support them in terms of emotional skills.

Dumbledore Teacher's Army
Why is leadership important in school?
Leadership is important to driving up standards and ensuring that all young people get the good education which they deserve. Teachers have to be leaders to promote the learning of all children. They have to show the students the right way and promote the growth of all students by cultivating a strong culture of teaching and learning. Teachers have a lot of power which they should use by developing a strategy to promote effective and collaborative teaching practices. A specific system, school structures and social norms can help teachers to make sure that all students get the same chance to archive their goals.

What are the main characteristic of a good leader?
A good leader should represent three characteristics: businessman, organizer and institutional expert. To be a businessman as a teacher is important because you have many different students which you work with, so it is important to know how to handle this. Organizer is as well important because as a teacher you haven’t so much time but at same moment you have a lot of content which you have to teach. That’s way it is important to organize yourself well so nothing or nobody get missed. Teacher should know what they are speaking about. They have to be expert in their area. They can’t know everything but if they teach something they should be well prepared and should be able to answer questions.
This three characteristics of a leader were mentioned by the group but I think you can lead a class in many different ways. In my virw it depends a lot on your own personality and on what kind of teachers you want to be. Everybody has to figure it out by himself and I think that need a lot of school practice.

Conclusion
All in all at this point I can say that all presentation were really good. With each presentation we have learned something new and it helped us to increase our knowledge about how to improve the organization at schools. At the same time you realize that there are a lot of different aspects, which you have to consider when you think about school organization.
Technology is nowadays inevitable in schools. The kids from today grow up with technology; they have to learn how to use it right. Also the use of different technology is very helpful when you work with children with a disorder like Down syndrome or autism. This also supports the idea of inclusive school where all students learn together and it doesn’t matter if some have a physical or cognitive disorder. Diversity doesn’t mean automatically that is it more difficult for the teacher or that it has a bad influence on the learning process. It all depends on the school structure and on the teachers of course. Creating inclusive cultures, producing inclusive policies or evolving inclusive practices can help to develop a successfully inclusive learning. Emotions take also a big part at school; teachers have to know that and have this in mind. It’s a teachers task to make the students feel comfortable and free to expressive their feelings or opinions. There are many different ways to develop a peaceful way of living together in school. The school has to develop an own strategic and figure out what is for them important. After that they have to work on it hard, because to accomplish the ideal school structure needs a lot of time and effort.
